Workshop #1 for ACTE 2025 CareerTech Vision

"The Industry-Focused Logistics Lab with Training Simulation at the Promise Career Institute."

Description: The Promise Career Institute (PCI) launched the Logistics and Supply Chain Management pathway in 2024 to offer Atlanta-area students career-ready skills for Georgia's most in-demand jobs in warehousing and manufacturing. Simlog welcomes Zawadi Dismuke, PCI's Logistics Instructor, for a look inside the program's best-in-class logistics lab that features 3 essential technologies for hands-on learning: lift truck equipment training simulation, along with robotics and supply-chain automation trainers.

Date: Wednesday, December 10th at 11am in Room 5.

Workshop #2 for ACTE 2025 CareerTech Vision

"Over 100,000 Students Trained for Success with Heavy Equipment Simulation."

Description:

Over two decades ago, the construction industry began to seek innovative solutions to the shortage of new skilled workers entering the trades, especially for training Heavy Equipment Operators. CTE programs responded to industry’s call with the adoption of the cost-effective Personal Simulator training framework with flexible simulator setup options. This workshop spotlights the new Heavy Equipment Operations for Trails program created by Northwest Arkansas Community College, with funding from the Walton Family Charitable Foundation.

Date: Wednesday, December 10th at 2pm in Room 5.

Featured Transportation, Distribution and Logistics Products at ACTE 2025 CareerTech Vision:

Forklift Personal Simulator

Simlog's Forklift Personal Simulator consists of 15 Simulation Modules which increase in difficulty, and 65 Performance Indicators to comprehensively measure the simulated work. The simulation software puts students at the controls of a typical sit-down, counterbalanced factory forklift with rear-wheel steering. Training scenarios are typical of transportation service centers, factories, warehouses, and distribution centers.

Reach Lift Truck Personal Simulator

Simlog's Reach Lift Truck Personal Simulator consists of 7 Simulation Modules which increase in difficulty, and 47 Performance Indicators to comprehensively measure the simulated work. The simulation software puts students at the controls of a typical stand-up "narrow aisle" lift truck with a scissors-like pantograph to extend and retract the forks. Training scenarios are typical of warehouses and distribution centers where racking systems are tall and spaced closely together to create narrow aisles and thereby increase storage density.

Stand Up Counterbalanced Lift Truck Personal Simulator

To maximize storage density, warehouses and distribution centers increasingly adopt narrow aisles that require a special kind of counterbalanced lift truck with "stand-up" functionality for work at loading docks and in narrow aisle racking systems. The Stand Up Counterbalanced Lift Truck Personal Simulator is Simlog's third product for lift truck operator training, and uses the same simulator controls as the Reach Lift Truck Personal Simulator.

Featured Construction Products at a Multi-Purpose Station at ACTE 2025 CareerTech Vision:

Skid Steer Loader Personal Simulator

Simlog's Skid Steer Loader Personal Simulator consists of 8 Simulation Modules which increase in difficulty, and 66 Performance Indicators to comprehensively measure the simulated work. The simulation software puts students at the controls of a typical skid steer loader equipped with either a bucket or forks, at work in a typical construction site.

Did you Know that you can Multi-Purpose Simlog Personal Simulators?

Many Simlog Personal Simulators can share the very same Simulator Controls to create truly cost-effective setups.

In this example, starting with Backhoe Loader, you can add Skid Steer Loader, Bulldozer, Hydraulic Excavator, Wheel Loader (and even Forklift) to give you a solid setup for construction programs that align with the National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER).
